A lot has happened since my last post. Mike Fleming, the welder, helped me weld the front and motor mounts onto the existing frame. I reinstalled all the electronics (had to take them off for the welding; didn't want any spark damage to the polyurethane or the electronics), installed part of the drivetrain components, and tested the functionality of the circuitry itself. Everything was successful, which is a huge relief. I also received thee neoprene rubber strips to add to the tracks. I have a video of it running using speed control with a potentiometer (Sabertooth in analog mode), but there was a problem uploading it. I will get that uploaded as soon as I can. So the readjusted deadline to get it driving is by January 10th. | |
